Don’t let anyone tell you the airport isn’t safe

Here is a quote that FAA put out in 2002 with regard to the idea of a new terminal and the safety of the Burbank Airport.

In 2002 FAA Administrator Marion C. Blakely wrote:

“Our long-standing support for the relocation of the terminal was based on our interest in bringing the airfield up to current design standards.  However…we believe that operations in the present location can continue safely in the future as in the past.”

This statement was repeated again in August 2011 by the Airport Authority and the FAA in page 2 of this press release.

If it wasn’t safe it would have been shut down.  Voter’s won’t see this in their mailbox any time soon.

  1. This is one more lie from the establishment people, saying it is unsafe when what they want is to make a windfall of money for themselves and their friends once again. Measure B is a vote for corruption
